This policy explains what personal data Zhongshan GOFA Lighting Co., Ltd. (中山市国发照明有限公司) and Ranliang New Energy Technology (Zhongshan) Co., Ltd. — trading as GOFA and ranneen — collect, why, and what you can ask us to do about it. Both companies are based in Guzhen Town, Zhongshan, Guangdong, China.

We sell LED lighting and LFP energy storage to businesses. We do not sell to consumers, and we do not sell, rent or trade anyone's data.

1. What we collect

  • Business contact details — company name, contact name, business email address, telephone number, country and website. These come either from you (an enquiry, a quotation request, a form on this site) or from a company's own published website.
  • Correspondence — the emails, WhatsApp messages and form submissions you send us, and our replies.
  • Basic website data — pages requested, approximate region, and the referring page. This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies.

We do not collect payment card details on this website, and we do not ask for government identifiers.

2. Why we use it

  • To answer your enquiry and prepare a quotation.
  • To send business-to-business information about lighting and storage products to companies we believe have a professional interest in them.
  • To fulfil an order, arrange shipping and meet customs and export obligations.
  • To keep records we are required to keep by Chinese company and tax law.

Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, our lawful basis is legitimate interest for business-to-business outreach, and performance of a contract once you place an order. You can object to the first at any time and we will stop.

3. Marketing email, and how to stop it

We send trade emails to business addresses. Every message carries a working unsubscribe link and a reply address a person reads.

To be removed, reply with "unsubscribe", use the link in any message, or email [email protected]. Removal is permanent — we keep the address on a suppression list purely so nothing reaches you again — and we do not require a reason.

4. Who else sees it

  • Email delivery — Brevo (Sendinblue), which sends on our behalf.
  • Website hosting — Cloudflare, which serves this site.
  • Shipping and customs — freight forwarders and authorities, only where an order requires it.

That is the complete list. We use no advertising networks and no data brokers.

5. Google account data

We operate an internal tool that publishes our own videos to our own YouTube channel through the YouTube Data API. It is used only by GOFA staff, it acts only on the GOFA channel, and it never reads, stores or shares any other person's Google account data. Google user data obtained this way is used solely to upload and manage our own videos, is not transferred to anyone, and is not used for advertising. Access can be revoked at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

6. How long we keep it

Enquiry and customer records are kept while there is an active trading relationship and for as long afterwards as tax and export law requires. Contact records with no response are reviewed and removed. Suppression-list entries are kept indefinitely, on purpose, so that a removal stays a removal.

7. Where it is held

Our records are held in China. Our email and hosting providers process data in the EU and the United States. If you are in the EEA or the UK, this means your data may be transferred outside your country; we rely on the providers' own standard contractual clauses for that transfer.

8. Your rights

You may ask us to show you what we hold, correct it, delete it, or stop using it. Write to [email protected] and we will respond within 30 days. You do not need a lawyer and there is no charge. If you are in the EEA or the UK you may also complain to your national data protection authority.

9. Security

Data is held on access-controlled systems and transmitted over TLS. No system is perfect; if a breach affects you we will tell you and the relevant authority.

10. Children

This is a business-to-business site. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect their data.

11. Changes

If this policy changes materially we will update the date above and, where the change affects you, say so in our next message to you.
